Several platforms are available for creating e-portfolios, Google sites being the most popular. It is available for free with an existing Gmail account and a lot of institutions prefer the flexibility of Google sites. Unlike traditional paper-based portfolios, e-portfolios allow for the integration of various text, images, videos, and hyperlinks in one platform. This multidimensional approach not only enriches the portfolio content, it allows the student to showcase their 21st century digital skills with potential internships and employers.
